Location : Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Position: Full Time


Key Responsibilities

  • Supports day-to-day running of offshore and onshore services operations ensuring all necessary resources are in place
  • Ensure appropriate resources are available to the Operations Team so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the company quality standard
  • Deliver technical expertise for the purpose of reviewing and creating operational procedures, work methods and manuals
  • Introducing new or improved services and work methods in order to enhance the Company’s offshore service quality
  • Responsible for Operations team training & promotion
  • Coordinate closely between the operations of the Company, especially on finance, legal, IT, internal audit and human resources; and
  • Prepare Monthly and Yearly Country and Financial Reporting, Forecast, Budget and Review to the Company

 Financial Responsibilities

  • Follow the Company’s financial SOP and Procedure
  • Ensure timely invoicing and receivable and collection for each job perform
  • cost of operations by frequent cost analysis. Determine means of improving efficiency and reducing costs where possible
  • Initiate controls to ensure that all required operations and accounting reports are received by the financial department
  • Ensure that spares and consumables usage is kept under reasonable control without affecting the efficiency of operations or the quality of the maintenance

 Operational Responsibilities

  • Gives technical advice and support to operational personnel or find support and information whenever required or deemed necessary by clients
  • Ensure well programs and schedules are understood, and that adequate information is provided to operational field personnel
  • Manage and oversee the utilisation of resources of equipment and personnel
  • Discuss with MCR Oil Tools for the each job planning. Update the online MCR reporting for each job
  • Maintain good close communication with MCR Oil Tools especially the complex job and any ongoing incident
  • Promote and market other Company products, outside of the MCR product range

People Management

  • Maintain regular contact with operations staff by personally attending, operations meetings , job briefs/debriefs
  • Take responsibility for overall staff to ensure a motivated, disciplined and productive workforce, especially be a good listener and reserve the time to give feedback
  • Appraise each report annually on a constant rolling feedback basis
  • Agree and monitor key safety, business process improvement and personal objectives for each direct report
  • Encourage personal development for succession planning throughout the organisation
  • Provide supervision to all personnel to ensure a safe and professional level of performance and to ensure that the team stays current with changes in technology
  • Ensure that training programs are maintained in line with competency requirements
  • Recommend competency based promotions, salary changes, disciplinary measures where identified
  • Encourage and support employees for personal development to take over responsibility for their tasks
  • Take immediate action on performance improvement issues and live a direct response culture (positive and negative) to the employee, secure prompt feedback

 Business Planning/ Continuous Improvement/ Organisational Efficiency

  • Ensure all work is performed within the requirements and guidance of the company QMS process
  • Must ensure adequate logistic of the company personnel, material and equipment and anticipate/correct any problem
  • Agrees with management, initiate and monitor all major maintenance and repair work in collaboration with the Maintenance department
  • Must ensure fast and detailed reporting in writing of any problems occurring on the operation
  • Maintain contact with competition to monitor business activities and performance levels
  • Create and modify procedures if deemed necessary with approval from CEO and/or QHSE department
  • To instigate , drive and take ultimate responsibility for continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the internal process within the organisation meets business needs
  • Support preparation of bid proposals for work as requested by customers
  • Stay current with changes in local laws or customs, which materially affect the company’s business. Maintain relations with government offices where appropriate

 Customer/ Public Relations

  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Maintain good communications with client representatives and make sure that misunderstandings or bad communication does not develop within the workforce
  • Keep the client informed of operations progress and any operational problems through regular meetings and/or written reports agreed with the client

Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Apply Company and where appropriate Client Company’s QHSE Management Systems.
  • Adhere to Quality and Safety procedures and policies in accordance with the QHSE Management System including:
  • Active participation and contribution to specific QHSE initiatives in meetings.
  • Report all hazards and unsafe acts
  • Actively promote positive HSE and Quality culture within the organisation Assures adherence to all QHSE regulations


  • 8 + years of experience in Cased Hole/Opened Hole/ Wireline/ Eline & Perforating field operations or an equivalent amount of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of Cased hole Completions within operations / field / FSM /Operations Manager. Has experience in pipe recovery, running Free Point Indicator Tool (FPIT), fishing, backoff, chemical cutter, explosive, perforation, RCT, PTC, power cutter or jet cutter
  • General knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
  • Able to work 24/7
  • Ability to work well and communicate well with others.
  • Must be fluent in English both spoken and written
